July 4th, 1998 Here we are in the Formula with friends enjoying the Navy Seal 4th of July show.
So what can you do with a boat in San Diego? San Diego offers a wide range of attractions for the boater, water skiing, jet-skiing, wind surfing, fishing, sailing or racing. Here is a partial list:
Enjoy concerts under the stars Humphreys, San Diego Pops, Tour San Diego Bay, Always something going on watch the expression on your kid's faces as you approach a Navy Aircraft carrier or Submarine. Spend quality time with your family turn off the cell phone. ANchor off Sea World any night in the summer and enjoy the fireworks. Drop the hook and spend an eveining on your boat without any disruptions and enjoy the surroundings in La Plaja or Mariners Cove. Cruise down and have dinner/drinks at one of the local restaurants with a hospitality pier. Run out to the local kelp beds and fish, or out the Coronado Islands and beyond... The winter months offer a time to go view the whales as they migrate each year. Being out in the element and having sea life come up close can be spectacular. If you have a sailboat and enjoy competition you can join Cabrillo yacht club and participate in the monthly races year round, and the summer beer can series. If you enjoy the water, and like boats boating in San Diego can be a priceless experience.
