A common sighting in San Diego Bay Navy ships come and go regularly. An interesting note: All ships larger than 65 feet in length have the right of way over all other vessels in San Diego Bay. This is due to their limited maneuvering capacity. Many boaters do not know this, so hearing "5 warning blasts" from ships towards boaters is an everyday occurrence on the bay.
