COMPLETE new, freshwater cooled, inboard Vortec 320hp inboard motor. 1700 hours
on boat, 75 hours on new motor.
Cruises easily at 24 kts (28 mph), runs 31 kts (36 mph) wide open Complete refurbish
in 2000 and continued in 2001.
I got a bigger boat in Oct 2001 and haven't used this one since (other than
once/mth running it for about 1/2 hour to keep it running well).
Completely fish rigged with Pompanette outriggers, new Furuno sounder, JRC CRT
radar, Standard VHF, Garmin GPS tied into fishfinder for graphical display (with
all local fishing waypoints already entered), Apelco Loran C, Standard Marine
AM/FM/Cassette stereo with Standard Marine speakers in T-top electronics box,
fire extinguishers, automatic bilge pump, etc...

35 gallon bait tank integrated
with leaning post and high flow (750gph) through-hull bait pump.
6 rocket launchers on T-top and 6 more around cockpit. Rod storage along sides
of hull.
New saltwater washdown system in cockpit. 80 gals fuel (2 tanks) and an auxiliary
27 gallon tank to get to outer banks and back. Bow mounted anchor and over 200'
of rode.
Lots of storage all over boat. Custom stainless railing.
Full Boat cover to keep everything clean. Always kept covered. High quality
Morse controls, overhead electronics box, Bennet hydraulic trim tabs for optimum
running trim, many other extras.
New in 1994 double axle
heavy duty trailer with freshwater flush brakes. In GREAT condition. Used about
8 times.
Boat is kept in the water with always fresh bottom paint and a dive service.
Gives you the option to keep in the water or on the trailer, or tow North and
shorten the run to the Channel Islands!
New GM Vortec 350 inboard
motor (Mercruiser Marine) is much more reliable and fuel efficient than twin
outboards. Runs like a top. Two heavy duty marine batteries with heavy duty
marine selector switch. This boat was built solidly from the start and completely
re-furbished over the last two years for a fun, fast, efficient, reliable offshore
fishing machine.
It's only got 75 hours
on a brand new motor! I rebuilt it to keep forever then my wife said to get
a boat with a cabin and a head!
I'll hate to see it go but need the money for the new boat. MANY more pictures at http://www.theplavans.com
