Old Navy Bootcamp- If you were ever in the Navy you might recognize this. It is the former Navy bootcamp where moi attended. The Navy is giving this base up, and the SanDiego community is still trying to decide what to do with it. It is prime real-estate most of it being directly on the San Diego Bay.
To the left is the USS
Neversail. Former Training boot camp recruit training ship. To
the right is a picture of the bay looking from the old boot camp
out. When I attended boot camp here recruits would try and swim
out of bootcamp and go AWOL. This area used to be totally
controlled and restricted, but not anymore..
Here are a couple of Navy Seal boats stopping to get gas in this same area.
