Sea Port Village, a popular spot for tourists. It includes many unique shops and restaurants. Many local artists, musicians and mimes hang out there. Directly behind Seaport village you can see the El Cortez hotel, also in the area is the Kansas City barbecue, Where the famous "Bar scene" in the movie "TOP GUN" was filmed.

Just around the corner from Seaport Village is the Downtown Marina, This picture is taken from the South side inlet, the building closest to you is the Charthouse Restaurant, It has 3 guest docks for boat-in dining, If you look closely you can see the former Americas Cup boat "Stars and Stripes" up on dry dock. To the right is the San Diego convention center, the Curved building is the Marriott hotel and the Wafer shaped building is the new Hyatt. These hotels surround the downtown Marina.

And here is a view from the front, I had to get the boat to do a serious jump for this one...The round dome building in the center is another restaurant that has boat dining slips available.
